Where should units go during the Blackberry Festival on Courthouse Square?
Blackberry Festival units fit best at the ends of the closed Main Street block. Carnival rides take over the courthouse yard, so the lawn is not an option. Plan a Friday drop before the street closes. Ask the City of Carlisle which side street stays open. Our service truck uses it on Saturday.
Can a truck reach a gathering spot near Lake Carnico?
Lake Carnico property sits on narrow lake roads with slopes that run down to the water. A pump truck needs firm, level ground close to the unit. Pick a flat spot uphill from the shoreline, not on soft grass near the beach. Tell us about steep drives, gates or low branches when you book.
What do farm crews in Nicholas County need in the field?
OSHA field rules apply once 11 or more hand laborers work a field. Crews need one toilet and one hand wash station per 20 workers. Units must sit within a quarter-mile walk of the work. Many Nicholas County fields sit off gravel lanes with no street number. Send a map pin of the field gate so the driver finds it.
Will US-68 road work slow a delivery to Carlisle?
US-68 widening work can add time to the drive toward Carlisle. Call by 10 a.m. for same-day delivery, and expect the truck later in the day if lanes are closed. Give us a backup phone number for the site. A clear, level spot near the road lets the driver set the unit fast.
Which Nicholas County venues and events need porta potties?
Courthouse Square, Carlisle is where Nicholas County restroom planning matters most. Blackberry Festival rides fill the courthouse yard, so units must fit along the closed Main Street block. Lake Carnico comes next: the 114-acre lake has a beach and golf club, and shoreline gatherings sit far from indoor plumbing. Busy dates include Carlisle Blackberry Festival and Nicholas County Fair.
